This week I was able to fix up the climbing mechanic so Rick rotates the correct amount when climbing. I also managed to do a rudimentary pickup ability too. It will most likely need to be expanded upon so it works with a UI but so far it works.
The main coding assignment I was tasked with was the pushing ability which I think is alright so far although I’m not sure if it’s the way we want it quite yet. It works by using the bear’s smash button so he pushes the item a short distance in the opposite direction. The team wanted grid-like behavior where the item only goes in 4 different directions though so I might have to change it later. I was thinking this would be good enough for now though.
